I'm OP and I love this take on the prompt so far! You won't know this but I have written a fic before with the entire premise of "the devil you know is better than the one you don't" in my head so I about died when you added that dynamic in because I ***LOVE*** the fucked up ramifications of it, lmaoooo!

While Rosalind is in control of Alfea, punishments for any little infraction are harsh. Beatrix, Dane & Riven are happy to report anyone they see breaking a rule. One night Riven catches Musa with drugs that she uses to relax her mind (whatever illicit substance floats your boat OP). He's set on turning her in but she's desperate to avoid Rosalind so she impulsively promises to fuck him if he'll keep her secret. A bit like a hate-fuck but maybe there's more between them than either of them expect.

OP here! Thank you so much! You did such a good job of making the blood witches really scary and vile. I'm going to pretend this is an au where Rosalind tells them it's Blood witches in Aster Dell and they're all so hurt by what happened to Saul and Andreas that they don't stop the burning from happening. So that they get to stay together for ever.

Poor Saul who can't stand Andreas's touch now but never stops loving him. Poor Andreas consumed by guilt for actions that weren't his own but we're his body. You captured it really well! I really liked the bit at the end where you had Andreas caring for Saul as much as Saul would allow
