If he arches his neck just so, the pressure hits just right. It’s not the same — it will never be the same — but without her, without anyone, it’s the best he can do.

His eyes slip closed as he strains upward, leather hitting his throat, stealing his air until blackness creeps in to cloud his vision at the edges. He imagines her, lifting him, holding him, her magic surrounding him on all sides as it steals his air and his thoughts and leaves him throbbing, aching, desperate for whatever she will give. Imagines thin smiles and polished boots, kneeling before her until his knees burned from the strain, fingers in his hair yanking it back as she runs one sharp-edged fingertip from chin to collarbone in tacit threat. They were made for each other, his need for someone who would keep him in his place by any means necessary answered by hers for someone who would push and push — and oh, how he’d loved it when she forced him to finally yield, left him gasping for air, shaking and covered with his own come. (How he’d loved it when she’d let him see to her needs after, his world narrowing to the warmth and wet between her thighs, a softness only he was allowed to see.)

There will be a time again, she had promised, in the first of his dreams after he’d fled to Solaria with a tiny infant and the wounds of his almost-death obscuring the last marks she’d left on him. Patience, she had counselled, but patience has never been his strong suit — he needs her restraint to keep him in line, needs but cannot have, and so for now this will have to do: his own belt, his own knife, his own hands.

Oh my goodness it does consider as a proper fill! Thanks a lot for sharing! I am blown away by how many details you've managed to put into this, I feel that every single word is meaningful. The perfect mixture of controversial emotions and feelings — damn, it's so tasty! The last line!!!
