All the best paying jobs go to fairies, where their magic can be put to use. Humans are left with any jobs that don't require magic and often don't pay well. Sky has been keeping his eye on his prospects and even as a specialist he won't be making much. With the house burnt down and Saul coming to the end of his usefulness as a specialist, money is about to be even tighter.
